2025 Local Scholarship Application

The Polk County Area Go Texan Committee will provide a scholarship award to eligible, outstanding students who have been active members of FFA or 4-H for 2 years of High School (grades 9-12).

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applications are provided by the Polk County Go Texan Committee to each FFA Chapter in the county as well as the County Extension agent. Applications should be completed in full and must be typed or printed neatly in black or blue ink.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted.  All applications must be received no later than Monday, March 8, 2021, with no exceptions, to: howdy@polkcountygotexan.org.

APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY 
To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must meet the criteria of having been active in 4-H or FFA for 2 years of High School (grades 9-12), applied for a college or vocational trade school, current academic standings, and met the minimum testing scores of the ACT or SAT outlined in the application.  If special circumstances arise, a final review and decision are made by Committee.

DEADLINE/DELIVERY OF APPLICATION
Monday, March 3, 2025 with no exceptions, to: howdy@polkcountygotexan.org.

RECIPIENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE OF THE TRINITY-NECHES LIVESTOCK SHOW AND ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT CEREMONY THE NIGHT OF THE TRINITY/NECHES LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO AUCTION ON SATURDAY EVENING AT 6:30 PM.
